Our Urban Explorers program is a 2 week New Bedford Adventure. Kids arrive at our site and while having a nutritious lunch plot the logistics for the days ride. They work out the routes and destination for the day and do a safety check of their bikes and equipment. (The kids do a little math by plotting their destination on a map and calculating the shortest and longest distances from base camp.) All students ride brand new, rugged, advanced bicycles provided in part by a generous donation from the TREK Bicycle Company. In addition, all students are properly fitted with a brand new bike and are given the helmet to take home upon completion of the program.
