Spring Vacation Program - (April 25 – June 17) Tuesday - Friday during Spring Vacation we are going to take 4 - 5 hour bike rides with 9 - 12 teenagers at various interseting sites: Massasoit State Forest bike trails, Cape Cod Canal bike path, Sippican Land Trust paths, etc. Tuesday - Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm Spring After School South End Explorers Program - (April 25 – June 17) (2) 4 week sessions after school riding to local points of interest: city beaches, parks, and libraries, Palmer's Island Lighthouse, etc. At the end each day, we will provide homework help and MCAS tutoring. Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30pm – 6:00pm Boys' & Girls' Club Spring Afterschool Program - (April 30 – June 18) Essentially the same program as the South End Explorers, but will be available to only Boys' & Girls' Club members. Mondays & Wednesdays 3:00pm – 5:30pm Bike Repair / Fabrication Program - (April 25 – June 17) An experienced bicycle repair expert will help teach 5 local teenagers how to repair and maybe even fabricate bikes. Starts in Spring and continues all the way to the Fall of 2005. Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30pm – 6:00pm Saturday Adventure Rides (Spring & Fall) - (Saturdays) 12 students from a local private school go for adventurous day rides to intersting destinations such as Freetown State Forest, etc. Summer Urban Explorers Program - (July 4 – August 26) On (4) 2 week sessions 9 students ride to local destinations like beaches where they can swim and snorkel (under the careful supervision of our Certified Lifeguards). Since we will have a new bike trailer, and funding for bus transportation, rides at more distant locations are possible this year.
